While sure, women may be a little more hungry while they’re pregnant because of all the nutrients their body needs, quite often they try to shove all that extra food in the same three meals they’ve been eating all their lives. That means they could be eating a quarter, a third or even a half times more than they usually eat in one sitting.
All of that food being dumped into the stomach all at once is asking a lot of your digestive system. You can totally bog down the system by putting so much food in, it doesn’t know what to do with it all and when the system has a tough time processing, everything slows down and this can lead you to be searching for pregnancy constipation relief.

Well, if you’re hungry, you obviously need to eat. That is your body’s way of telling you that you need more food, nutrients or other items to support the new life inside of you. This does a couple of different things for the body. First, it’s constantly giving you nutrients to pull from to keep you nice and healthy. This is exactly what you were looking for in the first place, now isn’t it? Secondly, you are giving your body more time to process each of the food items that you are eating. This can cut down on your need for pregnancy constipation relief, because it doesn’t bog down the system.
Another thing you may notice is that you generally feel better overall. By eating smaller meals, you’re not going to deal with as much of that full, bloated and gassy feeling that you’ve may have been experiencing when you ate those big meals before.
