Give Your Body Time To Go - Pregnancy Constipation Relief
February 27th, 2010 adminIt is a common complaint that many pregnant women have, that they feel like they always need to go to the bathroom. This is not a big surprise since they have all that extra weight pushing on the bladder as a new baby is growing inside of them. However, it is not just in the area of urinating that women need to make sure they give themselves plenty of time to use the restroom.
A very common complaint from expectant mothers is that they are constantly in need of pregnancy constipation relief. There are a lot of things happening within the body that can cause this, but another one of them may be too that they’re just not giving themselves enough time to allow their body to go when it needs to.
You see, if you’re constantly watching the clock, your body may not be so pleased with the concept of processing solid waste and getting it out of your system. This is something that you need to give your body some time to do and not feel stressed over.
One of the wisest ways to do this is to intentionally schedule time that you will spend in the bathroom to give your body the time it needs to do what it needs to do.
A lot of women who are expecting already have a pregnancy constipation relief plan in place that may include things like fiber or even a glass of prune juice to help keep their body regular. Once you’ve taken that supplement or constipation reducing item, you know that your body is going to try and process any waste to get it out of your system. However, if you haven’t given yourself the opportunity to be able to use the restroom, you may end up holding it in when it’s time for it to come out. This can actually make your situation much worse and leave you experiencing constipation during pregnancy all over again.
So, set yourself on a schedule. That means, once you’ve taken that fiber supplements, glass of fruit juice, or whatever else you use, make sure that you have an adequate amount of time to allow it to work. If you’re still working a regular job, this may mean you have to get up a little earlier in the morning to take that supplement, give it time to work through your system, and give yourself time to be in the bathroom before it’s time to go to work.
